I'm informed by David Alan Black that there will be a conference entitled 'The Last Twelve Verses of Mark: Original or Not?' held at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, April 13-14, 2007.

    Quite a line up for 12 verses.

    Does anyone know of any good scholarship on the "end" of documents and the likelihood of their accidental destruction (scroll and codex format)?

    I wonder if they will discuss at all the 10th century Armenian version that says the last 12 verses of Mark were added by Ariston?
