Troy Griffitts at the Institute for New Testament Textual Research (INTF) in Münster, who has been involved in the CrossWire Bible Society for many years in order to provide free, open-source resources such as the free Bible software project
SWORD project, has now done us another great service. In collaboration with Ulrich Schmid of the INTF, he has integrated the Eusebian Canon data into The Bible Tool. Here is a general description:

Just open the
Bible Tool and start clicking on the Eusebian canon numbers in the left margin of the text and see what happens.

ReplyDeleteTroy, I use the Crosswire 'Textual Evidence' quite regular and it is tremendous fun. Sooner or later it would be even more fun if we could make a selection of the manuscripts to be displayed (that could be saved so that I don't have to repeat my selection after each session). Great stuff!
ReplyDeleteDirk, sorry it's taken me so long to notice this. Great idea! Added to the right of the "Presets" header on the parallel view. This should allow you to bookmark the views you use regularly. For example, Dutch, Tregelles, NASB, Elzevir:
