Do we care?
ReplyDeleteBoW
ReplyDeleteof course you do or you wouldn't have mentioned that you don't care. if you REALLY didn't care, you would never even notice it or mention it. in the same way that i don't care about rugby and so i never mention it at all.
ReplyDeleteOn the one hand, I know both Peter and I appreciate very much that we have interested readers (especially readers active in textual criticism), as reflected in the comments, in these kind of statistics, and in other ways.
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand, we both probably don't like to compete (unless it is in racewalking or powerpoint presentations - I admit that I don't have a chance there).
I should also add that I personally think it is good to "connect" with the other biblioblogs (that is why I added a biblioblogroll), in much the same way as gathering physically for conferences. It is good that the biblioblogs interact with and refer to each other in various positive ways.
ReplyDeleteTommy,
ReplyDeleteYou are usually so earnest, except when teasing me.
I am in end of term Friday.
