Meditations on defeat

2
Scotland is a happy country tonight after England's defeat. As an exile in the North I comforted myself with the thought that each word in the Bible is far more important than the World Cup. I'd also like to think that the same would apply to moveable nus in the NT, but I guess not all my compatriots would agree.

  1. Dr Williams certainly is correct: movable nu's are far more important than the World Cup.

But of course I speak from the typical US standpoint, in which the World Cup is followed with about as much attention as the growing of grass....Thus, the text-critical relevance of the movable nu gains but little from this comparison.

    Let's Go Let's Go Argentina
    We'e gonna, we're gonna win

    . . . that's as far as I can follow.

    Translation?
