I suppose that it's rather short notice to give of a lecture and colloquium related to textual criticism in Aberdeen. However, on 19 April (i.e. this Wednesday) there will be a colloquium on Alexander Souter, who produced Novum Testamentum Graece: Textui a Retractatoribus Anglis Adhibito Brevem Adnotationem Criticam Subiecit Alexander Souter (Oxford, 1910). We hope thereafter to have an annual lecture in his honour. Full details of the colloquium including speakers David Dumville, Jane Stevenson, Jennifer Carter, Peter Noble, Giovanni Orlandi (on 'Souter and textual criticism'), Simon Young and Winrich Loehr are to be found here.
There should be plenty of opportunity to raise germane text-critical questions. I will let people know more about the publication of material from the colloquium as soon as it becomes clear what plans are.
There is no charge for attendance at the colloquium.
