Samaritan Pentateuch online

7
It's probably been online since 2002 (that's the most obvious interpretation of the page), but until today I had not realised that von Gall's edition of the Samaritan Pentateuch was available online. To see it click here. Now admittedly there are some weaknesses with this edition, most notably its tendency to give preference to Masoretic spellings. Nevertheless, it is still the best edition of the whole.

On the same site you will also find von Soden's Die Schriften des Neuen Testaments, the Cambridge edition of the Septuagint, Field's Hexapla, and many more goodies including images or editions of a number of important manuscripts.

  2. Yes,

type "any" in both boxes, and you are in. The hindrance was apparently added for security reasons.

  3. Help! I can't even see Samaritan Pentateuch in the list of texts on this site. All I see are Gk and Syriac texts. Any ideas???

  4. When I type 'any' in both fields, it doesn't give me access.

  5. The Samaritan Pentateuch seems to not be there any more.

  6. Google Books has a preview of von Gall's edition, which works pretty well for individual passages. Here's the link.
