Ekaterini G. Tsalampouni reports the contents of the latest issue of Filologia Neotestamentaria including:
Dean B. Deppe, "Markan christology and the omission of hyiu theu in Mark 1:1", FN 21 (2008), 45-64.
I look forward to reading this as soon as I can get my hands on a copy (or find it here).
Previously noted here.
Hmm, I submitted a very long article a few weeks ago on this passage... If it is accepted I will have to update to include this piece which I also hope to read asap.
ReplyDeleteI am glad that Deppe agrees with me against Peter (that UIOY QEOY belongs in Mark 1:1)...but I am not glad that I could miss this paper which is now out in article form - I thought I had included just about everything there is out there, and this is the most recent piece.
ReplyDeleteI don't think you missed it. I think FN is just running a couple of years late.
ReplyDeleteNo, but as I said, I missed the *paper* (which you had even reported on), and you haven't reminded me until now :-(. (I guess you had forgotten about it too.)
ReplyDeletePMH: "I think FN is just running a couple of years late."
ReplyDeleteYes, I remember Maurice Robinson making the remark that only Jesus knows when my article in FN will get published (editor: Jesús Peláez).
I never forget about papers that disagree with me.
ReplyDeleteI store up the bitterness and let it grow and fester until it takes over my whole life and I become a monster.
ReplyDeleteI don't want to think about which monster you will turn into when you read mine.
