On October 1, 2011 Dr. Bart D. Ehrman and CSNTM's Executive Director, Dr. Daniel B. Wallace, debated the reliability of the text of the New Testament at Southern Methodist University. This was the largest debate over the text of the New Testament in history. A professional film crew recorded the debate, which is now available to you. The DVD is priced at only $15.50 plus shipping and handling. Currently only the USA format (NTSC) is available. Pick yours up today.

I agree. This is too melodramatic. Who's the intended audience? The trailer looks more Hollywood than Princeton.
ReplyDeleteI should mention that this was by far the largest debate ever of its kind, and since the DVD was released on Monday, I have heard it has sold tremendously well. ReplyDeleteWho won?
ReplyDeleteI think the use of such media is great, provided it doesn't distort. I'm sure that Ehrman and Wallace between them will be responsible for inspiring and recruiting a lot of people into NT TC.
ReplyDeleteSo who won the debate? I'm going to get the video, but can't wait to find out!
