Is it that Swanson doesn't stick to his own paradigm for dealing with corrections, or is it his paradigm itself which you see as problematic?
The problem is not his paradigm--that can handle corrections all right. It's mainly that manuscript corrections (more than any other feature) confuse him and he either ignores them or misreads them.
Add "when he errs" to the end of my last sentence.
I highly suggest that no one click on any of the links on the 'home pages' of the recent rash of spam commenters.
