Testing New Blogfeatures

I am trying out some new features on the ETC blog, one of which is a search box in the right sidebar. I tried it out by writing "GA" in the box and it returned a whole bunch of entries about MSS (GA = Gregory-Aland). Try it out for yourself and feel free to comment.

What is the difference between the new search box and the Blogger search box at the top left (at least on my screen)?

The new search box looks better than the Blogger search box. Yesterday I wanted to search for "Majority Text" and the blogger search came back with no results. This new search box comes back with several results (including the blog post I wanted, which had "Majority Text" in the title - so I don't know why blogger couldn't find it). So on the admittedly slim basis of one search this new one looks like a winner.

I ran some similar tests and came to the same conclusion + there are some more options, e.g. to search in all the +100 bibliblogs in the blogroll/reader.

This is great, Tommy! Have now seen more blogs on P46 than I previously thought! Thanks.
