Second, do you think the author of the article could eliminate any of those possibilities of identity?

1. haven't seen the inscription so I
do not know about it's genuineness, but it sounds like it was found in situ, which would help.
2. There were five main families controlling the highpriesthood in the first century. I don't know how to differentiate them without more text.
3. square script doesn't bother.
