A conference on the Oxyrhynchus papyri entitled 'Culture in Pieces' is scheduled for 20-23 September, 2006, at Christ Church, Oxford. Details can be found here. The conference is in honour of Prof. Peter J. Parsons, FBA on his 70th birthday. He has been director of the Oxyrhynchus Project.
