He went far beyond the call of duty, adding Infra-Red images to the already available standard images on APIS -- quickly and free of charge. Clearly, the progressive attitude of the Ann Arbor conservators was partly due to Taianos Gagos' own commitment. Few other collections are as aggressive about making their manuscript freely available in digital format.
