Biblia Graeca – Septuagint and NA28
Jim Spinti of Eisenbrauns tells me that the German Bible Society is going to publish Biblia Graeca – Septuagint and NA28 this fall.
Description
This edition combines the Rahlfs-Hanhart Septuagint (Greek translation of the Hebrew Old Testament) with the 28th edition of the Nestle-Aland Novum Testamentum Graece. A one-of-a-kind, useful tool for pastors, scholars, and students.

Thanks Tommy for making us aware of this forthcoming edition.
ReplyDeleteDoes anybody have the faintest idea whether a book of 3,126 pages will be of any possible usefulness?
ReplyDeleteThe Orthodox church publishes a combined Greek LXX + NT (my edition is from the Adelfoths Theologon H Zwh, 1977), and it has only 1066 pages. No apparatus, of course.
ReplyDeleteFor various reasons generally well-known, I doubt that the Orthodox will jump to or even consider this new 3126-page edition.
