Greek Accent Question

7
Can someone tell my why the relative pronoun οὑ does not have an accent in the NA27?:

1 Corinthians 1:9

  1. Congratulations, you spotted an error. NA25 is correct, it should be δι' οὗ.

  2. My NA27 has οὗ (the NET/NA27 diglot). Have you checked which printing of the NA27 it is?

  3. Thanks, Jan. I have found the circumflex in Souter's GNT, also.

Jeremy, I have the second print (1994). The typo has also appears in my Bible software (I use the Logos/SESB product).

  4. I have the third (1995) printing of the NA27, and it has just the rough breathing (no circumflex), but oddly, the breathing mark is the smaller size appropriate for taking the circumflex.

  5. It is fixed in my eight printing of NA27

  6. FWIW, it is correct in the Accordance version of the NA27 (Mounce/Koivisto morphology ver. 3.7), but incorrect in the NA27-GBS which comes on our Mac Studienbibel CD-ROM (equivalent to your SESB, published in partnership with the GBS).

  7. Why cannot I see the Greek letters which have accents (circumflex etc.)? My browser has the encoding Unicode (UTF-8).
